Has anyone donated eggs?

I am seriously considering donating one of my eggs. My main reason for doing this is because I have student loans I need to pay off, second reason is because I can help a family in need. I would like to hear some comments from actually women who have done this procedure. I have had a baby already but I would like to have more in the future. Is it safe, can it effect me having children in the future, are the hormones they give you safe, will i be damaged or scared? Any advice or incite would be wonderful. I want to do this but it seems scary to me because I have no facts about this procedure. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
